Inspired by the vigilante ethos of her favorite true-crime podcast, a young woman recruits her ride-or-die girlies to stop her abusive ex before he can ruin more lives and destroy theirs in the process.

V has done everything right. She got away from her shitty boyfriend. She rebuilt. She is almost, maybe, doing okay when she discovers her ex has already found his next victim, and the clock is running.

What begins as a warning becomes, when no one believes her, a much darker plan. With her best friend Gil riding reluctant shotgun and the unhinged gospel of their fave true-crime podcast “Don’t Get Caught, Babes!,” V decides that if no one is going to stop that asshole, she will. They will. Whatever it takes.

Don't Get Caught, Babes! is a darkly comic feminist thriller about what survival actually costs and who gets to narrate it. Sharp, stylized, and slightly poisonous, it lives at the collision of intimate damage, true-crime absurdity, and the very specific black comedy of women doing what women have always had to do: clean up someone else's mess, permanently.
